Toms Flag Wallet

My stash of TOMS flags has grown again and I decided to do another flag upcycle! This time I'm turning the flag into a wallet. I originally saw the idea on pinterest, but there were no tutorials to go with it, so I decided to make one myself!

Supplies:

- TOMS Flag

- scissors

- straight pins

- sewing machine

Start off by cutting off the extra material just past the wording. Make sure to cut off the back before cutting the sides.

Flip the front over and fold over the top until the tan meets the blue.

On the blue area beneath TOMS, pin the section of extra material that doesn't have the drawstring. Then sew the edges and one line down the middle, this is where cards will be kept. Set the main part of the wallet aside.

Cut out a small rectangle, no larger than 2 inches in length and an inch and a half in width.

Fold the edge up twice, then sew it down.

Cut out a rectangle around the words on the back part of the flag.

Fold the raw edge over, fold the edges in and sew.

Sew the small rectangle onto the front of the wallet, just past the M in TOMS.

Turn the wallet inside out so the pocket for cards is up against TOMS. Pin the edges together and make sure to pin the One for One rectangle so the long end is up against TOMS as well. Then sew and turn right side out.
