DIY New Year's Eve Confetti Poppers

Prepping for your New Year's party? Don't forget the confetti! Make confetti poppers for the kids ( or you) to celebrate the new year.

Supplies:
- toilet paper tubes or cardboard tubes cut to 4.5 inches long
- tissue paper (the number of poppers you're making plus 1)
- glue

- thread
- construction paper ( pre-cut into 2 in by 6 in strips)

- the year (click here for pre-made ones)

Put a line of glue on the toilet paper tube, then press the edge of the tissue paper to it and roll.

Once it is fully rolled up, place a line of glue on the other end and press onto the tube.

Glue one end of the construction paper to the tube and wrap the other end around, gluing it in place.

Take the year that you have cut out and glue it to tube.

Using the tread, tie one end of the popper closed, making sure there is no gap in the middle.

Fold up one sheet of tissue paper and cut all of the folds. Then cut into strips making confetti. Fill the popper with it.

Tie off the other end with thread.

That's it! Enjoy celebrating the new year and stay safe :)
